Front Page ImageRocky is the common name for an entity that lives in the inner western suburbs of Sydney with his partner of twenty-five years, Greig. Rocky has the body of a 50 year old, the mind of a 20 year old and the bones of a 90 year old. Sooner or later they are all going to want their bits back.

This site might reveal what has turned Rocky into the twisted individual that he is, or be a valuable resource for police profilers to discover the next move in his plan to dominate the world.

At the very least, it will be a way that he can reflect on those carefree days, long after years of drug use and Alzheimer’s has taken its toll.

Apart from that, it’s virtually useless. No porn. No free music. No iPhone app. Is this what the Internet has become?

Not a lot to report.

Given that I spent the early part of this month sitting on a beach in Thailand, there’s really not that much to report. Of course, February is when the Sydney Mardi Gras Festival is in full swing however with the lack and any real gay events we stayed at home. The only exception was a photographic exhibition called “Under my skin”, featuring the works of Garth Knight, Paul McDonald, Francesca D’Amico, Jacq Sherry, Steven Cavanagh and Thomas Luscombe. Bailey and I attended as Greig was in Melbourne for work, but they ran out of booze before we arrived. Damn. Why [...]

Bailey passed out after dinner.

In 2003 I wrote about my “Singapore Sling”. It’s now ten years later and it happened again. Only this time, Greig woke me from a nice deep sleep so he could bundle me into a taxi and once again drag me off to the Singapore Airlines Lounge at Mascot Airport. I had no idea where we were going. As it turns out, it was Singapore. During the flight he got me to open a video file on our little Netbook. “Good evening, Agent Rocky. Your mission, should you choose to accept it . . . “ Actually, no. It was [...]

Photographing Jubilee Park.

First of all, I should have mentioned last month that once again this year, the Sydney Party Scene was every bit as vibrant as we’ve come to expect over the past few years. As a result, Greig and I stayed home. We did pop put to have a peek at the fireworks from the street, but apart from that there was nothing on. The closest actual party was in Lismore, almost 750km away (which by all accounts was excellent). Dr Mark however, came to the rescue with a fun evening BBQ the following night though. Somewhere we haven’t been in [...]

Spectacular

‘Tis the season to be busy, tra la la la laaaa la laaaa laaaa laaaaaaaaaa. Yes, it’s a month full of eating, drinking and being merry. Not unlike any other month of the year, when you think of it. We started December in much the same place we ended November. That’s logical, really. We started December in Melbourne. It may surprise you to learn that we didn’t go there just to see Rick Astley in concert. That was just a lucky coincidence. The real reason we went to Melbourne was to wish Sam a happy birthday. That and to take [...]
