The 2002 Dulwich Hill Mardi Gras

After the year got off to a busy and stressful start, the show still had to go on. We got the printed invitations out only days before the party date, but well over 100 people still managed to find their way through our house.

Then, at the 11th hour, a bracket that supported our "surprise effect" for the evening broke, forcing us to drop the whole idea. It was still fun watching people as they moved about, trying to work out what had been rigged up to catch them out. Rumour has it that people were flushing the toilet using a long stick in case it was rigged to "go off".

The party itself went off hugely. A little disturbing to see so many boys on a water bed at one time, but removing their clothes seemed to lighten the load a bit. (Actually, I believe a few loads were lightened!)

A quiet moment in the garden.	Toms "Alphabet Shirt" was a hit with the party-goers, each one trying to out-gross the other.
