The 2003 New Dulwich Hill Mardi Gras

With the demise of the other Mardi Gras organisation (that's odd - you don't see many sentences with the words "Mardi Gras" and "organisation" in them) our own event was thrown into turmoil. We would normally wait until the poster is released for the other one before we release our own. We understand the effect that our party has on ticket sales.

We couldn't wait so we did the best we could.

Attendance was down on the night which we attribute to September 11, but those who made the effort were rewarded with a spectacular event which featured a huge mirror ball suspended over the back yard from a cherry picker.

Once again the party went on until the wee hours of the morning with the last guest being scraped off the lounge at about mid-day the following day.
