The 2005 New Dulwich Hill Mardi Gras

The stupid thing with our 2005 party was that I couldn't actually be there!

A couple of weeks prior to the party we were asked to do a gig for NOVA 96.9 at GAS Nightclub. It was a case of if we weren't available then the broadcast probably wouldn't have gone ahead. On top of that, we could use the money so we could afford to throw a party.

So Greig and I split our resources - he got the party and I got GAS. Ummmm, that is I went to GAS.

Anyway, Jimi once again volunteered his services not only to help with the food as he has done for a couple of years now, but to act as surrogate host with Greig. In this role, he excelled himself.

This year there were no competing events, so about 100 people attended. (I didn't notice Ruby in any of the photos. Where were you? Hmmmm?) The night wasn't as hot as last year so at least they didn't end up spilling out onto the street, blocking traffic.

Anyway, a good night was had by all. Yadda, yadda, yadda.

No expense was spared on the light-show.
