The 2006 New Dulwich Hill Mardi Gras

After over a week of continuous rain, the weather cleared up just in time for our party. It was the first real summers day that we'd had for ages!

Another fun night was had by all with no casualties. We really need to lift our game in that regard - it's been years since anyone has gotten themselves really trashed at one of our parties. Something to work towards for next year perhaps.

The warm weather saw quite a few people partying on the street, something that has become a bit of a tradition. Luckily, our party didn't go the way of the party across the road on the previous night. Police were called twice to that party and there was a very loud and violent sounding argument at some ungodly hour of the morning.

By comparison, our party was very tame. Not one of our guests had a screaming match with another guest about looking the wrong way at his bitch.
